ARLETTE FELBERG

Arlette Felberg, pianist, is Founder and Artistic Director of Albuquerque Chamber Soloists, now beginning its seventeenth season of concerts. Formerly on the faculties of the University of Toledo and the University of New Mexico, where she served as Director of Keyboard Studies for four years. Ms. Felberg attended the Manhattan School of Music, received degrees from the University of Michigan and University of Miami, and completed four years of Doctoral Studies in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Indiana University, where she studied with Menahem Pressler and Gyorgy Sebok. A veteran of numerous solo orchestral appearances and chamber music concerts, Ms. Felberg has performed with the Santa Fe Symphony, University of New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Durango Civic Symphony, San Juan Symphony, Miami Symphony, Albuquerque Philharmonia, with the Fine Arts Quartet, on Channel 22 in Miami, Opus 22 Educational TV, June Music Festival, Taos Festival, Placitas Artists Series, Corrales Artists Series, East Mountain Artists Series, “Music on the Hill” in Los Alamos, and the Santa Fe Concert Assn., among others. Formerly, Chairman of College Auditions for the New Mexico Music Teachers Assn., Ms. Felberg has adjudicated state competitions in Texas, Ohio, New Mexico, and at the national convention in Los. Angeles.
