JAMES FINCH
James Finch, originally from Lansing, Michigan recently completed his master’s degree in vocal music performance at the University of New Mexico where he studied with Marilyn Tyler. While at UNM he sang lead roles in operas by Puccini, Donizetti and Barber while also singing Morales in Opera Southwest’s Carmen, and Dr. Craven in Musical Theatre Southwest’s The Secret Garden. In 2007 James was invited to participate in the Asolo Song Festival in Paderno del Grappa, Italy where he sang the role of Masetto in Don Giovanni. Since 2008 James has been the musical director at Los Altos Christian Church in Albuquerque.
