Since our inception, Albuquerque Chamber Soloists’ conviction has been that we are friends playing for friends, that we as performers share a gift with the composers whose masterpieces we replicate, and you, the audience whose very presence is necessary to the fulfillment of our creativity. This symbiosis provides us all with extraordinary, interactive music experiences and creates a link that nurtures all our intellectual, spiritual and emotional connections.
There is no doubt that year after year, our audience, continues to inspire us, and ACS is exceptionally grateful to all its donors and friends for their generosity and commitment to our mission of supporting the wonderful resident musicians who form the vibrant foundation of New Mexico’s artistic life. We continue to thrive because you support our track record of artistic excellence, organizational stability and the strong financial stewardship our board provides.
The Board of Directors of Albuquerque Chamber Soloists joins me in asking you for a generous contribution to our 2011-2012 Annual Fund Drive. Despite our conservative fiscal management, less than one-third of our presenting costs are generated by ticket sales, and we can say with great pride that our tickets are still the most reasonable in town.
